Itinerary

Day 1Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

you will be met by our representatives who will drive you to your accommodation in Moshi for breakfast and dinner in accordance with our instructions. We will then meet for the Kilimanjaro briefing and equipment checkup

Day 2Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

You will be picked up from Moshi to Marangu gate (1830 meters/ 7,000 feet) after breakfast. When you get at the gate, you will be told to bring your hiking supplies with you, and your guides will then begin to lead you. You will now proceed in the direction of the rain forest. You will also have the opportunity to see some wildlife. We now arrive at the hut, which is at Mandara Hut 2700m/8,858ft, where we will spend the night and have dinner. 8 km (4 miles), 3 to 4 hours of walking, and rain forest habitat.

Day 3Mandara Hut to Horrombo Hut

We now traverse a forest before entering moorland. Here, you may enjoy stunning views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. At this point, we will reach Horombo Hut (3720 m/12204 ft), where you may relax and begin to appreciate the lovely panorama with your friends and family. 12 kilometers (7 miles), 4-6 hours of walking, moorland and heather habitat.

Day 4Horombo hut

On the third day, we proceed across the zebra rocks and make towards the Mawenzi hut. You should drink less water on this journey and move more gently. Additionally, we’ll supply meals for the duration of the day for you. 4-5 hours of walking are spent on this second day at Horombo to help with acclimatization.

Day 5Horombo to Kibo Hut

We are on our way to the lunar desert today. Usually, it takes 5 to 7 hours to go to Kibo Hut, which is located at 4700 meters (15,419 feet). We’re going to spend some quality time in the Hut here. So you may prepare for that and get some rest before making the final ascent. 10 kilometers (6 miles), Alpine desert habitat.

Day 6Kibo Hut via Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

You must get up in the middle of the night and begin going toward the volcanic scree that will lead you to Gilmans Point 5685m/18,651ft, the major crater. Now go across the snow to reach Uhuru Peak, which is 5895m (19,340ft) above sea level. After some time, we descend to Kiko Hut, where you will be dropped off. After some rest, we continue on to Horrombo Hut. 20 km (12 miles), 11 to 15 hours of trekking, Habitat: Summit zone.

Day 7Horombo to Marangu Gate

On day 6, we travel through Mandara Hut at a height of 2700 meters (8,858 feet) to reach the Marangu National Park Gate at 1830 meters (6003 feet). You will then receive your summit credentials for completing the climb successfully. You will now be traveling to the hotel in Moshi for dinner. So, the journey comes to a conclusion in this manner. 20 kilometers (12 miles), rain forest habitat.
