Itinerary

Day 1TARANGIRE

After breakfast, you’ll leave Arusha for the roughly three-hour trip to Tarangire National Park.

As soon as you arrive in Tarangire, your game drive will start across a beautiful panorama of unending golden savannah that encircles the Tarangire River. The river itself flows year-round and serves as a crucial supply of water for the local animals throughout the dry season. The river, which is surrounded by acacia and Baobab trees, is frequently frequented by the park’s numerous elephants as well as other herbivores including zebras and antelopes.

You can observe lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and a wide variety of antelopes while driving through the park.

Day 2LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you’ll leave Tarangire for the roughly three-hour trip to Lake Manyara National Park. You’ll pass busy Masai settlements and the huge, open grasslands that have come to be associated with images of Africa along the journey.

The Lake Manyara National Park will be reached. The park has some of the best game watching in the entire world and is definitely a photographer’s paradise. Many of Africa’s most well-known creatures are likely to be there, with the tree-climbing lions being a special treat. They nearly beg to be shot as they sunbathe among acacia trees.

Lake Manyara is an excellent treat for birdwatchers, with a large diversity of birds on exhibit throughout the park.

Day 3LAKE EYASI - HADZABE

The Hadzabe are one of Tanzania’s last remaining true bushman tribes, and despite the country’s fast development, they continue to live largely as they always did. The Hadzabe tribe, which has 2,000 members, is an intriguing group that provides us with a glimpse into Tanzanian society in the past.

Just for us, the local hunters will put on a hunting demonstration. This display, which is far more than just a show, provides a wealth of information on their daily life as hunters who must find food for their family. You will witness firsthand how the Hadzabe coax their prey in close enough to be killed with specially created poisons by using distinguishing gestures and even animal body parts.

You’ll have the chance to take a drive around Lake Eyasi itself after a late breakfast. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of birds and mammals, even if this small soda lake does not have the same variety of wildlife that you would find in a national park. Hippos and flamingos have been seen to reside in the lake on occasion.

Additionally, you’ll have opportunity to speak with residents of Datoga. These intriguing folks, who are primarily farmers and cattle breeders, provide yet another window into Tanzanian tribal life.

Day 4SERENGETI

You’ll need to wake up early today since you’ll be accompanying the Hadzabe bushmen to go food hunting!

After our time with the Hadzabe in the morning, we’ll head toward the Serengeti. We’ll go through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of elephants, leopards, elephants, or cape buffalo in the dense underbrush.

To break up the approximately four-hour drive to the Serengeti park gates, select between one or both of the extra activities listed below.

is the Oldupai Gorge Museum, which honors some of the earliest discoveries of human habitation. Visit the Oldupai valley Museum to discover more about the history of humanity, explore some of the oldest fossil evidence of human settlement, and take in the breathtaking vistas of this arid valley region.

Both of the aforementioned activities are extra-costly. Consult your safari specialist about include these on your schedule.

It’s time to visit the Serengeti itself after a delectable lunch at the picnic area of Serengeti National Park. Experience the famous savannah environment of Africa and be astounded by the enormous variety of creatures that live there.

Day 5SERENGETI

Your day will begin with an exciting early-morning game drive through the Serengeti. Watch the savannah catch fire as the sun rises, while lions and leopards search for their morning prey.

As an alternative, you might want to fly with a champagne breakfast and morning hot air balloon expedition. Find out how to include this in your itinerary by speaking with your safari guide.

You’ll take a packed lunch and leave for a full-day game drive across the park after breakfast. The path that your driver chooses will give you the best possibility of seeing the Big Five and the Wildebeest Migration.

Day 6NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

We immediately head back towards the Ngorongoro after breakfast.

There are numerous opportunities to see the animals you missed on day two as our drive returns us to the Serengeti via a different path. Thousands upon thousands of animals can be seen in herds as far as the eye can see, including wildebeests and zebras traveling together, tall and graceful giraffes, leaping antelopes and gazelles, the strong African elephant, and the most revered animal species: the predators.

Depending on the standard and kind of lodging chosen from our alternatives, dinner and sleep will either be spent on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or close by in Karatu Town.

Day 7NGOROGNORO CRATER- ARUSHA

You’ll leave for Ngorongoro Crater, sometimes referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, after breakfast.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the world’s most popular safari locations, is home to over 120 species of mammals, including the famous Big Five. It’s a great spot to watch hippopotamuses in great numbers enjoying the cool water as well as the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a solitary meal on the grassy plains.

After the day’s thrills and spills, you’ll have a picnic lunch in the park. After that, we’ll travel back to Arusha.
