Tour Details

You will travel to Tanzania on this 8-day migration safari, stopping at the Serengeti National Park, which is the site of the greatest animal migration in the world, known as the “Great Migration.” More than 1.7 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebra, and 200,000 antelope migrate from the Ndutu region of the southern Serengeti northward through Tarangire National Park and the multifaceted jewel (Ngorongoro Crater), which is frequently disregarded by safari travelers, to witness the greatest show on Earth of wildebeest crossing the Mara river.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Our team will welcome you at the airport and transport you to the hotel in the center of Arusha City so you can get ready for your trip to Tanzania the following day. You will receive a safari briefing on the basic safari itinerary, lodging information, and confirmation of the precise time you will be picked up to begin the following day on this day.

Day 2Tarangire National Park

The tour leaves at 7:30 am, following breakfast at the hotel in Arusha. Before leaving on safari, we first stop at Arusha Shoppers to make any last-minute purchases. Following that, we travel to the Tarangire National Park for a wildlife drive and picnic lunch. The vast number of elephants and baobab trees in Tarangire are well known. Up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras all migrate through its center each year. Dinner and a night at the inn

Day 3Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Ngorongoro and descend over 600 meters into the crater to see the wildlife. Because the area has year-round access to water and food, a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, and enormous African elephants, can live there. The abundance of predators in this magnificent national park, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, is another major lure. One of the prominent features of the crater is the vast but shallow alkaline lake known as Lake Magadi, which we will visit. Hippos, flamingos, and other water fowl are frequently spotted here.

Then proceed to the Kogatende area, in the park’s northernmost region, which features the Mara River and one of the park’s best wildlife habitats in the months of July and August. Make it to dinner and bedtime on time.

Day 4 - 6 Center of Serengeti National Park to North

After breakfast, set off on a deep game drive through North Serengeti and across the Mara River to the Serengeti National Park, which is home to boundless grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see. Then proceed to the northern region, known as the Kogatende area, one of the park’s greatest wildlife habitats. This region is home to the Mara River, a crucial water supply that draws wildlife that is well-representative of the majority of Serengeti species. Arrive in time for lunch, then have a Serengeti national park game drive in the evening. Dinner and a night at the inn

Day 7Through Olduvai Gorge, from Serengeti to Karatu

After leaving the Serengeti National Park, you will go to Karatu for dinner and the night while playing a game. You will travel to Olduvai Gorge, the Cradle of Humanity and a renowned archaeological site. Mary Leaky found the first homo sapiens remains here, and anyone interested in the forefathers of mankind would be enthralled by this fascinating location. Admire the rough terrain while exploring the cute tiny museum. Located in the eastern Serengeti Plain, this paleoanthropological site is a steep-sided ravine made up of two branches that together measure around 48 kilometers in length and 90 meters in depth.
